Christofer Drew Ingle<3

Christofer Drew is probably the most down to earth, and handsome young man ever! :D His music,is real music. Not like other meaningless music going around nowadays. This man has inspired me to smile and appreciate all the little things, I really want to meet him someday and tell him how much i admire him.
If you guys for any reason haven't heard his music, check him out, really CHECK HIM OUT :DD

Sportsmanship

Good sportsmanship is when everyone treats each other with respect and fairness (teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials). You always have to treat others, the way you want to be treated, with respect. :)

Always try to be a good sport by trying to:
Play fair
Be a team player
Stay positive
Keep trash talk to a minimum
Lose gracefully
Win with class
Respect the rulings of the officials.

Sportsmanship is so important there is a national sportsmanship day!!! :) The national sportsmanship day was March 1, 2011.  So HAPPY SPORTSMANSHIP DAY :D

Ken Griffey a 41 year old who played baseball for Mariners, Reds and WhiteSox said “I can’t play being mad. I go out there and have fun. It’s a game, and that’s how I am going to treat it." Which is very true. If you are loosing i am pretty sure being mad and being disrespectful is NOT going to help you win. So just relax and try your best :)

I found a touching story, it’s about Emily, a eight year old that burst in tears after her softball game ended. Emily was not crying because her team had lost, or because her opponents  offended her. Emily was crying because her father yelled at her when she missed a fly ball that could have saved the game.

Also the softball video of Central Washington and West Oregon was a very inspirational
This video was amazing. Sarah accomplished her goal, and its wonderful how Liz and Mallary from central Washington helped her complete the home run and not just that, but they helped her finish and complete her goal. Definitely it was a very inspirational story. I wish all teams were like them. Liz and Mallary did not mind loosing the game, as long as they helped Sarah.   Both Central Washington and Wet Oregon are great teams.

HPHS RECONSTRUCTION!

On tuesday, May 10th, 2011 about  300 students walked out of Huntington Park High School to protest against major changes the school board has planned for the school , some of these changes include that teachers and staff are to re- apply for their jobs.  The students walked 10 miles  to LAUSD head quarters, they were accompanied by  about 10 teachers and police cars.  I personally agree with the speaking out part because it is important that our voices be heard, but this rash action of 300 hundred students walking out when only 3 were allowed to actually talk only made us look more reckless and rebellious. I personally believe that the walkout shouldve been more organized and meetings should've been held with students to vote on what actions were necessary so that the school board would've taken us more seriously  .It is important that students speak up for the school and show how much we care of our school. Taking this decision about changing our school without student or parent opinions is completely  unacceptable, I believe that the school board should've organized a meeting at our school and talk to our parents and students about what they had planned for us.

Sportsmanship
The video we watched today in class was completely inspirational, it showed how much character defines a person. The video was about a softball competition, central Washington vs west Oregon. Sarah from Oregon had never hit a home run in her life, and in that game for the first time ever she actually hit one as she was running she got herself injured and she wasn't able to make it the whole way. As a rule no one from her team could've helped her, but Mallory from Washington asked if she and her teammate Liz could pick her up and  help her to all the plates. Washington lost that day 4-2 and Sarah lost the season but they all showed good sportsmanship and good character.

 My Vacations (:

During vacations i didn't really do much /:  I  took an R.O.P class, its a cosmetology class and its pretty fun. It was originally set from 2:30- 5:30, but now is from 3-5:30. i really like this class since i had already worked at the salon about 2 years ago. I went to my aunts house in Lancaster for 3 days and it was really fun since my aunt is real funny. We went fishing and it was extremely cold so i ran in my aunts car and hid there until it was time to leave.  Something exiting  to me that i did during vacations was that i finally learned how to cut hair! :D I cut my moms hair and it came out pretty decent. I also dyed my moms hair red, which was a pretty difficult process since her hair was dyed blue black before. (: I also learned how to do some home made facials which leave your face feeling and looking awesome! :D
