~Douglas Pagels
Friends you cant live without, they will be there for you no matter what, they wont judge you but they will provide you with that love and support you really need in difficult times. Friends are always there to cheer you up when you are sad and are going through difficult times. This post is to thank my friends for all these years of friendship and wonderful moments we shared, you guys have always been there for me, even though some piss me off at times but I love you all regardless. I lost my elementary school best friend, and I thought we would remain friends forever, loosing her was a real big blow on the gut and it sucked, which is why I will try my hardest to not loose any of you.
Dalia we have been through a lot, we have been friends since we were little, we had a ‘fight’ and we didn’t talk for months, I don’t ever want to go through that again, which is why I let you slide with a lot of stuff (: Dalia I do not know what I would do with out you my white sister, perhaps my life would be unlivable (if that’s a word).  I just want you to know that I will always be here no matter what.

Marysol we have known each other for a while now as well, I was in (6th and she was in 7th) We sort of separated for a while and I missed you D: we would prank on my sister A LOT:D ahhhh, good times, really wish we could do that again. We barely “reunited’ and I’m so happy because you are one of the most kindest caring person ever, and I am extremely lucky to have you in my life.

Anahi, we have been friends since middle school, you are very funny and smart, and these past years have only gotten us closer, you are like an older sister to me. Thank you so much for your advice and you friendship Nini.

Jackie, oh jack we have been friends since middle school too and oh lord what would I do without you? You are one of the funniest people on earth and you can immediately cheer anyone up with your jokes and sense of humor. All the crazy things we have done are wonderful memories I will cherish forever. Thanks for your friendship!:D

Thank you guys for your years of friendship, I love you all and promise I will always be here no matter what!(:

Personal Mission Statement

A personal mission statement is  almost the same as a mission statement for a business.  A mission statement is used to help a business thrive and prosper. But a personal statement is used for us to write down our goals and they will help keep them in mind so that we may also thrive and prosper, although they are different the principles remain the same. The personal mission statement helps us see what's important and helps us set a goal that fits us perfectly.

I highly recommend you to keep one so that you may have
that goal you set for yourself in mind, and it will help you reach your goal.

Writing your Personal Mission Statement is not hard at all, these following steps will help you write your goal, and it only takes 5 easy steps(and a piece of paper and a writing tool)! :D

Step 1: Identify past successes. Identify four to five examples of where you have has personal successes. This could be at work, school, community etc. Write them down on your paper.

Step 2: Identify Core Values. On the same paper write down certain attributes you have that help shape who you are, make this list as long as you like.

Once the list is complete, narrow your list down into 6  most important values.

Finally pick one that is most important to you.

Step 3: Identify Contributions. Make a list of  ways that you can make a difference , in the world, family, friends, job, or your job.

Step 4: Identify Goals. Think about priorities you have in life or or goals for yourself.

Short term and long term goals.

Step 5: Write your Personal Mission. Now look at the lists you just made and think  of a goal that suits you,a goal that you would really like to accomplish. Write it down and keep that paper, keep it somewhere where it will be safe and  as time pases by you can adjust it a change it a bit, keep that paper until you reach your goal! :D

Wellness

When you hear or see the word “wellness” you may think tall, thin and muscular. But wellness isn’t only our physical appearance it is our mental, financial, and social well-being. We must be healthy in all our aspects so that we may have the balance we need.

Physical Wellness- We must exercise and eat healthy meals. People may think exercise and panic because they figure exercise means running many miles, push-ups, sit up, and all these other crazy exercises. But it’s as easy as walking for 30 minutes everyday! So you don’t have to kill yourself exercising. By eating healthy, I don’t mean starving yourself; I mean eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, not too much meat or junk food.

Mental Wellness- Sometimes our minds need a break. We have to get away from everything and everyone at least for a while you can do this by going somewhere calm and quiet and meditate. Meditating is an excellent way to relieve stress, not to mention it feels great! I like to sometimes sit on the floor and cleanse my mind of everything and think happy thoughts, I like to think about when I was a kid and used to go to the park with my parents. You can go to the salon get massages and facials, they always make you feel relieved and fresh, not to mention they beautify! You can also go camping and interact with nature for a while. Another way to relieve stress is writing, or doing art.  Something else that would work is tai chi, I haven’t practices tai chi much in fact I have only done like one little lesson but it feels great, it soothes you a lot. If you don’t like any of these suggestions do something you love.

Financial Wellness- Just like our body and mind need a break so does our wallet. Try not to spend much money on anything unnecessary, spend it on the necessary such as bills, rent, school supplies etc. Also try saving money; you never know when you will need it.

Social Wellness- Social wellness is also very important because it links to mental and sometimes even physical well-being. Social wellness is having many friends and being at peace with others. A healthy social wellness person is always happy and kind. They are kind to everyone and smile or say hi even if they don’t know the person. A person like that is very liked, and if you are very liked you feel great and you will be mentally/emotionally healthy.

As you can see all of these are linked together, try to balance them all together, so that your life can be well balanced. If you have too much of one or too less of the other you wont be all that healthy so try to balance them all out.
Be Healthy!

My Interests/Hobbies
My biggest interest would be music, I love to sing, and I would love to learn how to play guitar and piano. I’m not saying I m good at singing or that I have a real talent, I’m just saying that I really enjoy it. For a pastime, I love to read, I read any kind of book but I have a weakness for books about vampires. I listen to music and I sing along all the time. I listen to a variety of music, going to Enter Shikari to Jenni Rivera, that just says I’m very open minded about music. I have a huge interest in psychology, when I grow up I want to major in psychology and become a child protective service worker. I have always liked helping people, helping people makes me feel much better. It makes me feel like a good person. I like dying people’s hair; I dye my hair, my moms’ hair and occasionally my neighbor’s hair. I’m pretty good at doing massages; I want to learn how to do Asian massages. I would love to take cosmetology classes. I have always liked motorcycles; I want to learn how to drive one when I grow up, and instead of having a car, ill have a motorcycle. My parents say I’m crazy but I’ve always wanted one.  I love reptiles, and I would like to have a pet snake. I saw this really cute pink corn snake at Pet co and I really want it, my parents disagree on that one too. I’m really good with kids; they tend to like me . But I don’t want children of my own.

You do not always have to be talented to be successful. You have to work hard and have a lot of patience, you have to learn form your mistakes and not let them discourage you.A great example for this would be Tyler, he practiced and practiced and practiced until he got successful in basketball. He is a great player and was recognized for his basketball skills. Tyler and his father would get up early every morning before everyone woke up and practiced for about 2 hours, he would do this every day until he reached his goal. Tyler won state player of the year twice in high-school and won sate championships. He is a great example of hard work, patience and learning form one's mistakes. In order to reach our goals we must work hard, have patience, and learn from our mistakes.

Brenda

Scottish-  Meaning sword, or torch
Irish- Prince, little raven, or beacon on the hill.
Gaelic- little raven.

You dream of close and meaningful relationships, cooperation with those around you; family and friends. You want to be a peacemaker and mediator. You present an image that you are a very pliable and easygoing person who would be very easy to get along with.

My godmother was the one who suggested to call me Brenda, my mom went along with it because she thought it was a pretty name. I personally am not to happy about it because i wanted to be named after someone special (my mom) but it didn't happen =/

Jason McElwain
Jason is a huge inspiration. He taught us that the sky is the limit, he showed how anything is possible. Follow your dreams like he did with his, and become an inspiration to others like he did. Him overcoming his sickness and his dreams was an inspiration to many people, for all those who watched his game. He showed hope to those who have the same sickness he has. Seeing his game and his story inspired me, it made me believe that anything is possible, your dreams can come true if you set your mind and your heart to it.
